Preservation and Availability

 

To ensure the permanence and accessibility of scientific posters presented at the First International Congress CRUPE 2025, the Scientific Posters Portal implements reliable digital preservation systems such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, which ensure long-term restoration and access to the content.

 

In addition, posters will be deposited in open access repositories to facilitate their visibility and reuse within the academic, scientific, and educational community.

 

The portal has its own file backup system, supported by Open Journal Systems (OJS), which ensures the security and conservation of the presented information.

 

Daily backups of the servers hosting the posters are performed. These copies are kept for one month, and then a monthly copy is retained for a full calendar year.

 

This portal uses LOCKSS to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, enabling permanent archives for digital preservation and restoration.

 

Once published, scientific posters will also be deposited in the institutional repository of the university organizing the event, ensuring their permanent presence and free access for future consultation.
