Peer review system
Policy on peer review and evaluation of scientific posters
All scientific posters submitted to the Posters Portal of the III Qualitative Research Congress will undergo blind peer review to ensure the academic and methodological quality of the submitted work.
The review process will preferably be carried out through the event platform or compatible academic systems. Reviewers will be external to the organizing committee and selected based on their experience, validated through their ORCID profile and academic curriculum vitae.
During this process:
Authors and reviewers will not know each other's identities, ensuring an impartial and objective evaluation.
If the poster is accepted with revisions, authors will have up to 15 calendar days to submit the revised version. If this deadline is not met, the work may be treated as a new submission.
The event's editorial committee commits to issuing a decision within a maximum of 60 days from receipt of the poster.
If a report is unsatisfactory or inconsistent, the Scientific Committee may assign a new external reviewer. If a second negative evaluation is received, the poster will be rejected. In all cases, authors will be notified of the decision with a clear justification.
In addition:
All reviewers will receive an official certificate of participation for their contribution to the academic peer-review process.
Approved posters will be published on the portal within 4 to 8 weeks of final acceptance.
Final approval for publication will rest with the event's general coordination, in consultation with the assigned editors and according to the reviewers' comments.
