Semantic similarity detection

Semantic similarity detection

The Scientific Posters Portal of the III Qualitative Research Congress is committed to originality and respect for intellectual property in all submitted works.

Plagiarism is the total or partial reproduction of others' works, data, or ideas without proper attribution. Therefore, all submitted posters will be reviewed with automated semantic similarity detection tools, such as Turnitin or other specialized platforms.

Evaluation criteria:

  • Works with a similarity index above 21% will be rejected immediately.

  • In the case of justified matches (such as properly marked citations or references), a manual editorial assessment will be carried out.

The Scientific Committee will analyze cases that require deeper review. If an ethical infringement is confirmed, the measures set out in the portal's Policy on ethical violations will be applied.
