Use of the metaverse and learning experience in virtual educational environments

Abstract
Panama is integrating technological resources into virtual learning environments. This qualitative, descriptive study focuses on the different types of experiences teachers and students have had within immersive spaces using the Second Life platform. It focuses on the creation and selection of avatars in interaction areas with other students, fostering three-dimensional collaborative learning.
By using the metaverse, these students strengthen their creativity and interactivity skills, fully understanding the content in non-face-to-face spaces. This is positive for education in any area, as it strengthens learning with technological tools that promote interaction with meaningful learning in the Second Life and Mozilla Hub worlds. It highlights the participation of students and teachers in Second Life despite the difficulties in adapting to virtual environments and the adaptation barriers teachers and students may face when using new immersive technological tools that expand their capabilities.
